Photographer and artist Mella Travers founded The Darkroom in 2010. Over the years it has grown into one of Dublin’s largest independently run Black and White Darkrooms. The ethos of The Darkroom is to provide open access to the facilities, keeping analogue photography, processes and printing firmly on the cultural map of Dublin. The Darkroom provides affordable courses in all areas of photography from Analogue to Digital in stills and moving images, from Beginners class to Masterclass workshops.
